Get This Show On The Road. . .
We've been on the road for a bit now and the show is running more smoothly. We've ended up cutting a few small scenic pieces that make the load in and the backstage running of the show much easier.
I'll be happy to get out of North Charleston, SC. There's not a lot to do here. Not that we've had the time. I had 4 hours of understudy vocal rehearsals today and we shoot B-Roll tomorrow so it'll end up being a long week.
I think the cast is holding up pretty well. The cast and musicians and crew seem to gel pretty well so hopefully that will hold out for the next 9 months.
I was sad to leave Sarasota, FL. It was really great to hang out with the company on the beach every night after the show. It was red tide so there were dead fish all over during the day but by the evening they were carried out to sea. Florida audiences tend to be quiet (that'll happen when the median age is well into their 80's) but the house was nice and the weather amazing.
Anyhow, I'm gonna go to bed so I can get up for work tomorrow.
