PRUNING THE SHOW
In the past few weeks the Oklahoma company has become quite accostomed to pruning the show to play various venues. For those of you familiar with the show we have done the show without the show deck, corn drop, windmill, harrow, several electics, school house arches, all the miniature pieces, Claremore hanger etc.
The one nagging thing I've learned is that in the long run it doesn't make a whit of difference. The show succeeds on the cast, music, story and heart. Some of the most in-tune audiences have been in these tiny venues. Of course I prefer to have our full show in tact but it's refreshing to realize you can strip it of so much and still the show goes on.

Saw your show in Elmira, NY from front row center. I am the pastor of several small churches out here in the middle of nowhere- a transplant from NYC metro area.I have taken as many of our kids as will go to see theater in NYC and now they have developed a love for it and a good percentage of my parish attended one of the three shows. You were a bigger topic of conversation than the Sunday sermon. We loved the show- Thanks for bringing it to us

Thank you for posting. It's our pleasure! Its great that you're getting kids interested in theatre. I've seen it shape many kids and young adults lives by participating as an actor, musician, technician or audience member.
